GC298YB Straddie Delight (Event Cache) in Queensland, Australia created by Just a Trifle

Ever wanted to visit Straddie but the cost of the vehicle ferry has put you off?

Well the Big Red Cat is running a special at the moment and if you get one of the first two ferries across on a Sunday morning, it is only $50 return (usually $135) but you have to ring them on 1800 733 228 to get the special rate.

So why not take a trip and spend the day exploring Straddie? The whales have started their migration north and Point Lookout is a great spot to sit and watch them go by. We could then meet up for lunch at the Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel from 11.30am.

We will be on the 7.00am ferry to Straddie and look forward to other caching teams joining us for a day out on the Island. We will be monitoring UHF Channel 15 on the day.
